Acceptance of Terms

By installing, accessing, or using KeepGoing ("the Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Software.

Product Description

KeepGoing is a local-first developer context tool available as a VS Code extension, CLI, and MCP server. It captures development context (checkpoints, decisions, session history) and stores everything locally on your device.

License

KeepGoing grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Software on one device at a time. You may use the Software for both personal and commercial purposes. You may not redistribute, sublicense, resell, or share your license key with others.

Free Tier

KeepGoing offers a free tier that includes core features at no cost. The free tier is provided as-is. We reserve the right to modify which features are included in the free tier at any time.

Paid Features

Paid features (such as Decision Detection) are available through a one-time lifetime license purchased via LemonSqueezy. Your license can be activated on one device at a time. You may deactivate your license from one device and reactivate it on another at any time.

Data and Privacy

KeepGoing is a local-first tool. All your data (checkpoints, decisions, session history) is stored locally in the .keepgoing/ directory within your project. We do not collect, transmit, or store your development data. There is no cloud backend.

The only network communication is license validation, which sends your license key and a device identifier to the LemonSqueezy API. No other data leaves your machine.

Intellectual Property

KeepGoing and all associated intellectual property are owned by KeepGoing. Your use of the Software does not grant you any ownership rights in the Software itself.

Limitation of Liability

The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, KeepGoing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Software.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
