Privacy Policy

Momentum Mascot does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting, no accounts, and no network layer at all. This is not a policy choice layered on top of the app; it is what the app is made of.
What the app reads
For each git repository you explicitly add through the folder picker, the app reads the repository's reflog and the modification times of files in the working tree. From that it derives one thing: when you last did work there. It does not read commit messages, diffs, branch names, file contents, or anything that identifies your code.
What the app stores, and where
A single JSON file on your machine, holding the folders you added, the timestamps derived from them, which character you picked, and where you dragged the pet. You can read it or delete it at any time.

Nothing in that file leaves your machine. There is no server to send it to.
The share card
Share Status draws a 1200x630 image and puts it on your clipboard. The image carries the mood and the room and deliberately nothing that identifies a project: no names, paths, commit messages, hashes, or timestamps. It goes to your clipboard, not to us. What you then paste it into is between you and that app.
Children
The app collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this ever changes, this page changes with it, and the date at the top moves. Any release that starts collecting anything would say so here first.
