KeepGoing is a local-first developer context tool. We are designed to collect as little personal data as possible. Your development data never leaves your machine. This policy explains what limited information we do collect through our website and services, and how we handle it.

Information We Collect

  • Email address — provided voluntarily when you subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Payment information — collected and processed by LemonSqueezy, our Merchant of Record. We do not store your payment details.
  • License key and device identifier — used solely for license validation.

How We Use Your Information

  • Email — to send a welcome email and occasional product updates via Resend. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Payment data — processed entirely by LemonSqueezy to fulfill your purchase.
  • License validation — to verify your license is active. Only your license key and a device identifier are sent.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • LemonSqueezy — payment processing and Merchant of Record.
  • Cloudflare — website hosting and email address storage.
  • Resend — email delivery.
  • Google Fonts — font delivery. Google may log your IP address when fonts are loaded.

Cookies

KeepGoing.dev does not set first-party cookies. Third-party embeds such as the LemonSqueezy checkout overlay and Google Fonts may set their own cookies according to their respective privacy policies.

Your Data in the Extension

All development data captured by the KeepGoing extension (checkpoints, decisions, session history) is stored locally in the .keepgoing/ directory within your project. This data is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Data Retention

Your email address is retained until you unsubscribe, at which point it is deleted from our systems. Payment records are held by LemonSqueezy in accordance with their retention policy.

Your Rights

You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@keepgoing.dev.

Children's Privacy

KeepGoing is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
